We are actively seeking an enthusiastic and professional A and B level motorcycle & powerports technician looking to grow their career. We carry Triumph, Honda, Polaris, Kawasaki, Slingshot, and a large variety of pre-owned vehicles.
A technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in compliance with dealer and factory standards. This person must be detail oriented, committed to the highest quality standards, and dedicated to doing the job right the first time.
Following are specific duties of the Technician:
- Receive repair orders from the Service Writer out of the schedule.
- Perform repairs efficiently and accurately, in compliance with dealership and factory standards.
- Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair. Advise the parts department of needed parts. Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.
- Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
- Advise service advisor immediately of any issues, such as additional work needed, or if work outlined is not necessary, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
- Document work performed accurately and thoroughly.
- Road-test vehicles when required.
- Attend factory and company sponsored training classes and be familiar with factory technical bulletins. Complete assigned online training.
- Ensure that customers’ units are kept clean and protected from cosmetic damage.
- Keep shop area neat and clean and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools at all times.
- Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, ensuring a safe workspace for yourself and all others.
Requirements:
Be able to lift 50lbs and push/balance up to a 900lb motorcycle.
Be able to use a computer proficiently
Have a great attitude with a willingness to learn and help others
Required experience:
Powersports / Automotive / Marine - 5+ years

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
