Responsibilities/Job Description:
The Therapy Resident - Pelvic Health is responsible for providing safe and effective delivery of patient care including Examination, Evaluation, Diagnosis, Planning, Intervention and Establishing Outcomes.
Responsibilities

Evaluates and reassesses patient condition.

Determines plan of care.

Provides appropriate and effective interventions.

Supervises and directs appropriate members of rehab team.

Responsible for personal and professional development to ensure current knowledge required for position.

Develop a personal program of self-study and professional growth with guidance from the teaching faculty and staff.

Participate fully in the education activities of their program and as required, assume responsibility for teaching and supervising students and others as appropriate.

Participate, as appropriate, in PT related research opportunities and/or community outreach service projects.
Required Qualifications

Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Minnesota or temporary license in the state of Minnesota

APTA Membership
-
Basic Life Support (American Heart Association or Red Cross)

Level One Pelvic Floor course or equivalent

Completion of Residency Interview process
Preferred Qualifications

Doctorate in Physical Therapy

Obstetrics course for pelvic therapist residents
