Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems SPOTON
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards and proper food handling procedures
- Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments via POS systems
- Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting in food preparation when needed
- Ensure guest relations are positive by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and providing personalized service
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service standards
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Previous experience with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding of alcohol laws is preferred
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus but not required
