Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Experienced Carpenter to join our team for full-time, year-round work. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of residential and commercial carpentry projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other construction materials using hand tools and power tools for woodworking.
- Perform framing tasks including metal stud framing, door hanging, and rebar installation with precision.
- Execute finish carpentry such as trim work, fixture installation, caulking, stucco application, and plastering to achieve polished results.
- Operate woodworking machines safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean work environment.
- Assist with remodeling projects by performing demolition, restoration industry tasks, and heavy lifting as needed.
- Follow safety protocols related to power tool use, power tool safety procedures, and proper handling of wood construction materials.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high standards of quality.
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on residential carpentry or remodeling projects.
- Extensive hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, and metal stud framing.
- Familiarity with construction site safety practices including power tool safety protocols.
- Experience in various carpentry disciplines such as frame carpentry, trim carpentry, fixture installation, door hanging, caulking, rebar installation, and restoration industry work.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during material handling or demolition activities.
- Prior handyman experience or involvement in remodeling projects is advantageous.
- Knowledge of woodworking materials including different types of wood construction materials used in residential settings.
