Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
- Support medication reminder under supervision and ensure proper documentation in electronic health record (EHR) or electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral support
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and document all care activities accurately in medical records
- Support family members and caregivers through effective communication and education about patient needs and safety measures
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe living environment
- Follow home healthcare regulations and best practices for infection control, safety procedures, and emergency response including CPR and first aid
Experience
- Prior experience working as a Home Health Aide or in assisted living facilities is highly preferred
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in geriatrics enhances your ability to deliver specialized care
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and home health care regulations is essential
- Previous experience providing hospice or end-of-life care demonstrates compassion and resilience in sensitive situations
- Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
