We are seeking kitchen helpers with the ambition and enthusiasm of a chef. This is an opportunity to create and prepare healthy and delicious food in a private community market in Fire Island, New York.
You will be assisting the chef with creating meals for the employees of Point O' Woods, helping with catering, and creating prepared foods for the grocery store as well. You will also be responsible for cleaning up and washing dishes before and after lunch and dinner service.
The community is surrounded by beautiful green space and wildlife is abundant. You will see deer, turtles, fox and many species of birds. It is a beautiful environment and the market is nestled in the center of it.
Housing may be provided depending on availability which is just steps from the beach. Meals are also provided as an added benefit as well as ferry service on and off the island. This is a full time position requiring weekends.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
