Marc’s Flooring is a flooring company that has been in business since 1992 and installs all types of flooring: vinyl, laminate, tile, carpet, and hardwood. Our team members take pride in their work and will do everything they can to ensure client expectations are exceeded through our commitment to quality and service. Marc's Flooring is based in St. Peters Mo, but we operate across Missouri, Kansas, NW Arkansas and Western Illinois.
We are currently looking to add a Flooring Estimator to add to our team. The Flooring Estimator is responsible for evaluating project specifications, performing accurate measurements, preparing detailed diagrams, and supporting the sales and installation teams with precise project data. This role ensures that all flooring projects are priced correctly, competitively, and profitably while maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site measurements using industry-standard tools and digital measurement systems.
- Analyze material options (carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, specialty flooring) to recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Create project proposals, bid packages, and takeoff documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a flooring estimator, construction estimator, or related role.
- Strong understanding of flooring materials, installation methods, and industry standards.
- Proficiency with estimation software (MeasureSquare, RFMS, FloorRight, or similar).
- Excellent math skills, attention to detail, and spatial reasoning.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license for site visits.
- Able to pass background screenings.
