Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional therapeutic massage services to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse client base. This role offers an opportunity to utilize advanced massage techniques in a professional environment dedicated to health and customer satisfaction. Candidates must hold a valid massage therapy license in Hawaii and possess a strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Experience in medical spa settings and occupational health is highly desirable.
Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, lymphatic massage and trigger point therapy tailored to individual client needs
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Provide pain management solutions through targeted massage therapy
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and client progress
- Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients at all times
- Uphold the highest standards of patient service and customer care during every session
- Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist
- Proven experience with patient service, assessment, and various massage modalities such as deep tissue and trigger point therapy
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and occupational health principles
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with clients empathetically
- Ability to perform detailed patient assessments and customize treatments accordingly
- Prior experience in med spa or wellness centers is preferred but not required
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards, confidentiality, and ongoing education in massage therapy techniques
- Must be able to work on Saturdays
