RISE Dance Center of Virginia – a premier dance training studio dedicated to excellence in dance education, performance, and personal development – is seeking a professional, dynamic and detail-oriented Dance Studio Administrator. Our mission is to elevate each dancer’s experience through high-quality instruction, strong community values, and a commitment to growth, both on and off the stage. The Dance Studio Administrator will play a key role in supporting dancers, staff, families, and our mission.
Position Overview
The Dance Studio Administrator works closely with the Studio Director and staff, so the studio runs efficiently, professionally, and seamlessly. This role is responsible for administrative, customer service, and business functions. The ideal candidate has a background in dance and is highly organized, proactive, people-oriented, and capable of managing multiple moving parts in a fast-paced studio.
Key Responsibilities
- Support front desk reception to welcome dancers, families and guests
- Maintain studio calendar, schedules, and room assignments
- Handle studio communications (email, phone, and social media inquiries)
- Support student registration and enrollment
- Support onboarding for new families to ensure a welcoming experience
- Support scheduling and coordination of instructors and staff
- Support studio events (recitals, performances, competitions, etc.)
- Assist with implementation of marketing campaigns and promotions
- Ensure the studio environment reflects RISE’s premium brand with an organized, clean and professional facility
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in dance studio administration or dance studio management
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service mindset with professionalism and warmth
- Strong skills and experience with technology and business software (Microsoft Office, CRM systems, social media, and design/graphics tools)
- On-site presence required. Not a remote position.
Preferred
- Experience with youth programs
- Familiarity with StudioPro, Jackrabbit, or similar studio management software
- Event coordination experience
