Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee healthcare construction projects in Lihue, HI. This role requires a detail-oriented leader capable of managing complex construction processes from inception to completion, ensuring projects meet quality standards, deadlines, and budget constraints. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in construction management within the healthcare sector, demonstrating proficiency with industry-specific tools and regulations. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 10 years construction experience with 3–5 years management experience in the healthcare industry.
- Healthcare certifications associated with construction or facility management preferred.
- Proficient in reading, understanding, and interpreting plans and specifications.
- Understanding of building, project site systems, and construction methods.
- Understand contract types and be able to properly administer the contract obligations.
- Knowledge of the entire construction process including planning, design, preconstruction, procurement, permitting, performance monitoring, and closeout.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem solving/analysis skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and employees at all levels.
- Ability to advocate for the owner’s interests while maintaining productive relationships with contractors, designers, and regulatory agencies.
- Self-starter with initiative, responsiveness, and strong follow-through.

- Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of healthcare construction projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop comprehensive project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 or similar project management software.
Pay: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
