Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, project scheduling, and the use of various construction management software. This role requires effective communication, time management, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Construction Superintendent will ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with all regulations and standards.
Duties
- Assist with all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Utilize construction management software.
- Oversee project scheduling and coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members.
- Review contracts and ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
- Monitor project progress, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
- Facilitate communication between owners, General Contractors, suppliers, employees.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed on-site to maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide leadership to project teams and foster a collaborative work culture.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management or project management within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling principles.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Previous experience on construction sites is essential for understanding practical challenges.
Must have valid drivers license and clean driving record
