Clinical Office Supervisor
LPN or Medical Assistant With Supervisory Experience
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Office Supervisor to lead our Camp Hill satellite pediatric office, which includes two physicians and four staff members.
This position requires previous experience directly supervising employees, including coaching staff, completing performance evaluations, addressing performance or attendance concerns, resolving conflicts, and holding employees accountable.
This is also a hands-on position. Candidates must have a clinical background as an LPN or medical assistant and be willing to provide clinical and front-office coverage when staffing needs arise.
Primary Responsibilities
· Directly supervise, support, and hold accountable a team of four staff members
· Establish performance expectations and ensure adherence to practice policies and procedures
· Provide staff training, coaching, evaluations, and appropriate performance documentation
· Address attendance, conduct, workflow, and interpersonal concerns promptly and professionally
· Coordinate daily staffing assignments and coverage
· Oversee the office’s daily clinical and administrative operations
· Provide clinical and front-office coverage within the candidate’s training and scope of practice
· Conduct chart audits and monitor outstanding laboratory, imaging, and referral orders
· Oversee clinical logs, test controls, temperature monitoring, and regulatory readiness
· Help maintain compliance with VFC, CLIA, and other applicable requirements
· Coordinate medical supply ordering, equipment service, vendors, and general office needs
· Address patient and parent concerns with professionalism, compassion, and sound judgment
· Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, families, and practice leadership
Required Qualifications
· Previous experience directly supervising employees
· Demonstrated experience with employee coaching, performance evaluations, corrective action, conflict resolution, and staff accountability
· Current LPN license or medical assistant education with relevant clinical experience
· Medical-office experience
· Ability and willingness to perform both clinical and administrative duties
· Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
· Sound judgment, professionalism, dependability, and consistent follow-through
· Experience with electronic health record and practice-management systems, or the ability to learn them quickly
Pediatric medical-office experience is strongly preferred.
The Right Person
The ideal candidate is a confident, fair, and approachable leader who knows how to manage people—not simply complete office tasks. This person will take ownership of the office, make sound decisions, address difficult situations, support the physicians and staff, and maintain a respectful, patient-focused environment.
