Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Dishwasher/Busser to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will ensure the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas, support food safety standards, and assist with food service operations. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment through proper dishwashing procedures.
- Assist with bussing tables by clearing plates, glassware, and silverware efficiently and courteously.
- Support food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all surfaces and utensils meet health standards.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, dish racks, and trash disposal with proper technique.
- Aid in food preparation and basic kitchen cleaning tasks as needed to support culinary staff.
- Ensure the dining area is tidy, organized, and ready for guests by cleaning tables and resetting them promptly.
- Follow food handling guidelines and safety protocols during all duties to promote a safe environment.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with food safety management practices, sanitizing procedures, and dishwashing techniques is a plus.
- Experience in bussing or serving in a fast-paced environment will help you excel in this role.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged standing is essential.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations or culinary experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory; training will be provided.
