Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, professional, and vigilantSecurity Guard to join our property management team. The ideal candidate will help maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This role requires strong observational skills, professionalism, and the ability to respond calmly and effectively to a variety of situations.
Responsibilities
- Patrol and monitor assigned properties to ensure safety and security
- Serve as a visible deterrent to unauthorized access or suspicious activity
- Respond to alarms and incidents as directed by management
- Monitor CCTV systems
- Conduct routine security checks and inspections of designated areas
- Complete detailed daily digital logs and incident reports
- Document and report incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities accurately
- Provide professional and courteous assistance to residents, employees, and visitors
Requirements & Qualifications
- Must possess a valid New York State Security Guard License
- Minimum 2 years of experience in security or a related role
- Experience with surveillance systems and incident reporting
- Comfortable using computers and web-based reporting software
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods
Schedule
- Full-time
- 8-hour shifts available:
- 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
