About This Role
A warm and nurturing individual is needed to support our preschool teachers and students at a local church preschool. Our school year runs from mid-August to early May, with teachers working weekdays from 8:15am to 2:00pm. Our program serves children aged one through K5.
What You'll Do

Develop and implement lesson plans to help students learn essential skills such as color, shape, number, and letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social skills.

Establish and enforce classroom rules to maintain a safe and orderly environment.

Design and lead activities that promote physical, mental, and social development, including games, arts and crafts, music, and storytelling.

Maintain accurate records of student performance, behavior, social development, and physical health.

Identify students who may require additional support or services and collaborate with supervisors, parents, and child development specialists to address these needs.

Prepare classrooms and materials for daily activities.

Provide basic care for students, including feeding, playing, and changing diapers when necessary.

Arrange the physical space to facilitate creative play, motor skills activities, and safety.

Attend staff meetings as required.
