Job Description
Summit Properties, a national general contractor with 30 plus years in the commercial construction industry is seeking a highly qualified Project Manager in the Phoenix, AZ market.
POSITION IS REMOTE, BUT CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL.
Responsibilities:
- Lead by Company Values & Key Performance Principles
- Managing multiple active retail / TI / rollout projects ($50K–$5M)
- Full project ownership from contract execution through closeout
- Budget creation, buyouts, cost tracking, and forecasting
- Subcontractor solicitation, leveling, award, and management
- Change orders, RFIs, submittals, and closeout documentation
- Direct communication with owners, architects, and inspectors
- Schedule-driven delivery with accountability for results
- Travel and attend site visits as required
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5–10 years as a Project Manager for a commercial General Contractor
- Direct retail / tenant improvement / multi-site rollout experience
- Proven history managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong subcontractor management and cost control skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project)
