Job Title: Spotter Car (Repossession Agency)
Location: Skokie
Schedule: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM
Pay: $20/hour starting pay + $20 bonus for each located and recovered vehicle
Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Spotter Car Operators to join our repossession agency. The spotter plays a crucial role in locating vehicles that are subject to repossession. Using a company-provided vehicle and technology, you will patrol and grid scan assigned areas, identify target vehicles, and report accurate information to the recovery driver for pickup.
Key Responsibilities
- Grid scan designated areas to identify vehicles listed for repossession
- Use company software, license plate scanners, and visual confirmation to locate target vehicles
- Accurately record vehicle locations, photos, and other identifying details
- Communicate findings promptly to the recovery team for efficient pickup
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures during shifts
- Keep vehicle and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from shift start point
- Ability to work independently and stay alert during long shifts
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- Comfortable driving in various weather conditions
- Smartphone and GPS skills.
Compensation
- Base Pay: $17/hour
- Bonus: $20 for each vehicle located that is successfully picked up
