Position Summary: Provides training, supervision and oversight of behavior specialists, RBTs, and graduate students pursuing educational advancement in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. Additionally, maintains a caseload and provides behavioral consultation services to help ACCEPT programs build capacity to serve students with low incidence disabilities.Qualifications Required: Bachelors degree (B.A./B.S.) Masters Degree requiredBoard CertificationLABA3 5 years of experience working with children and/or young adults with special needs, preferably in a school environment3 - 5 years experience in a leadership roleProven ability to lead and manage staffStrong organizational, communication and management skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsQualifications Desired: DESE License Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Conduct appropriate formal and informal assessments and interpret results for own caseloadConsult with staff regarding the needs and services of students and families for own caseloadProvide consultation and support to all ACCEPT programsDevelop strategies to implement goals and address behavioral issues in the school settingDocument and review student progress and review progress reportsServe on Team to determine the appropriateness of ACCEPT program referralsConsult with teams to develop goals and objectives regarding educational/behavioral needsConduct professional development workshopsSchedule, send meeting notifications, and run Safety Care Training (with other trainers) (complete documentation - on QBS portal and internal)Serve as resource for staff for questions regarding BSP development and/or assessments, group contingencies, problem solve regarding restraints and de-escalationProvide weekly individual supervision, as needed, for behavior specialists such as but not limited to newly hired Behavior SpecialistsReview and approve restraint reports, as they come up, and ensure that they are sent to Administrative Assistant, to be sent to families and districtsSchedule and run group supervision meetings (monthly) and keep meeting notesMeet regularly and as needed with the Director of Student Services for program development purposesAssist with interviews, as neededEvaluate Behavior Specialists for the purpose of the DESE evaluation process and document on TeachPointHelp with Professional Development Trainings, as neededMeet weekly with classroom teams when student has more than 1 restraint in calendar week, in charge of documentation for these meetings, and with the admin team to review restraints program wide on a monthly basisOther duties as assigned by the supervisorNonessential Functions: Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or the Executive DirectorOccasional travel to all collaborative locationsSuccess Factors/Job Competencies: Ability to work with children and young adults with special needsStrong leadership skillsExcellent management skillsGreat attention to detail and accuracyExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsPositive and proactive attitude Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical conductCommitment to company values and missionStrong team player
