JOB TITLE: Bangor Warehouse Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Supply Chain

REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager
JOB SUMMARY
The Bangor Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring shipping/receiving, inventory management, and job fulfillment are performed safely, efficiently, and accurately. This people-leader position guides the coaching and development of the warehouse team including team support, training, and issue resolution. Together with their team the leader will achieve customer service expectations and meet internal schedule requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily completion of warehouse activities aligning with the Getman Production Schedule. Work with Planning and Production process partners to align task completion with manufacturing flow.
- Lead and develop the warehouse team (8-10 team members); complete and conduct performance reviews; celebrate and recognize success, address complaints, and resolve problems.
- Maintain staff levels that align with expected long-term workload. Lead team in interviewing, hiring, and training new employees
- Ensure operational goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently met.
- Monitor performance, analyze data, investigate opportunities seeking to improve performance over time. Participate in company improvement initiatives as appropriate.
- Coordinate the maintenance and repair of material handling equipment as needed.
- Initiate material, supply, equipment, and tool purchase requisitions as needed by the team.
- Support the warehouse team in the loading of large capital equipment for shipment, including training and safety procedures.
- Enforce MiOSHA regulations and company safety polices, conduct regular safety meetings, and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.

Education and/or Experience
- Associates degree or equivalent qualification or a combination of job-related education and a minimum of 3 years warehouse, manufacturing, or supply chain environment.

- Powered industrial truck license – training and certification will be provided
