Senior Childcare Teacher – Full-Time

Senior Staff Qualifications
- Completed Childcare I & II courses and all required coursework to work in a childcare center.
- Previous experience working with children.
- A genuine love for children and a passion for helping them learn and grow.
- Dependable, flexible, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
- Infant and Toddler coursework is required.
Senior Staff Responsibilities
As a Senior Staff member, you’ll help provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children ages 2 months to 5 years.
Your day may include:
- Creating fun, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that encourage children's development and creativity.
- Playing, singing, reading, and participating in games and activities with the children.
- Enjoying outdoor play and activities when weather permits.
- Serving meals and snacks to your class.
- Building positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members.
Professional Expectations

- Cellphone use is prohibited while working in the classroom with children. Personal cellphones should be used only during designated breaks or for approved purposes.
- Promptness and punctuality are required. Being on time and ready to begin your shift is essential to maintaining proper classroom coverage and supporting your teammates.
- Dependability, teamwork, and professionalism are expected every day.
