Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Project Engineer (Temporary) to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the new melt shop construction. This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical engineering skills to innovative projects that drive our company's growth and success.
Responsibilities
- Track project timelines
- Ensure deliverables and meet deadlines
- Ensure quality standards of project site
- Liaise with cross-functional teams, clients, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration
- Create blueprints in CAD software
Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, and other 3D CAD modeling tools for product design and mechanical drafting.
- Strong understanding of project engineering (project management a plus)
- Experience with mechanical detail drawings.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis using systematic problem-solving methods within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Effective cross-functional communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on schematics, technical documentation, and project updates.
- Bachelors in mechanical engineering or related field required
