Romeo Air Conditioning, an established family owned residential and light commercial HVAC service provider, is hiring a Service Technician to join its service and maintenance team. Technicians are responsible for maintaining the company's image and reputation, as well as providing our customers with exceptional and efficient customer service. Technicians are required to effectively diagnose cause of HVAC system issues, perform service repairs and complete equipment maintenance as needed. They are are expected to follow all company guidelines, present themselves in a professional manner at all times, make quality repairs in a timely manner and take care of all company property.
Duties to Include:
- Provide the highest level of customer service, technical ability, and quality to our customers
- Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, cooling, and refrigeration units for our customers. Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.
- Travel to job sites in service area and work with dispatcher to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer.
- Technicians are required to be on call for 1 week a month. During this week technicians will need to be available to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customers.
- Maintain good working order of company vehicle, including cleaning and organizing, washing, and notifying office when any repairs or maintenance is need on vehicle.
- Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle
- Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts as directed, calibrate system to manufacturer’s recommendations, and be able to fully explain what the issue is and what is needed to correct.
- Complete notes at every appointment with accurate and thorough information, create invoices for work performed, and collect for said invoices as needed.
- Identify and report potential opportunities for additional business (new unit/ system, PM contracts, and additional services)
