Position Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse to ensure the safe, efficient, and organized flow of inventory, equipment, and event materials. This position provides direct supervision to warehouse staff and contract labor, ensuring operational objectives are achieved while maintaining Topher Mack Floral & Events' standards for quality, safety, efficiency, and customer service.
The Warehouse Supervisor is accountable for inventory management, warehouse organization, receiving and dispatching materials, workforce coordination, and compliance with company policies and safety regulations. This role is responsible for planning and prioritizing daily warehouse activities, monitoring productivity, assigning work, and ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on schedule. Additionally, the Warehouse Supervisor supports event operations by coordinating the preparation, loading, installation, and strike of event materials, ensuring all equipment and inventory are maintained, properly stored, and ready for future use.
Success in this role requires strong leadership, effective communication, sound decision-making, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced event production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead warehouse staff and contract labor during daily warehouse operations.
- Assign, prioritize, and monitor daily tasks to ensure work is completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
- Develop and enforce warehouse organization standards to ensure inventory is stored correctly and easily accessible.
- Catalog, label, photograph, and organize new inventory as it arrives.
- Conduct routine inventory audits and report damaged, missing, or low-stock items.
- Ensure all rental inventory, floral containers, décor, hardgoods, drape, rigging, and event equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Coordinate the staging, loading, and unloading of event materials for deliveries and pickups.
- Lead installation and strike crews on-site, ensuring events are executed safely, professionally, and according to company standards.
- Monitor contractor performance and provide direction to maintain productivity, quality, and accountability.
- Communicate regularly with the Operations Manager and Production Director regarding warehouse needs, inventory, staffing, and project timelines.
- Ensure all warehouse equipment, tools, and vehicles are maintained, organized, and ready for use.
- Promote and enforce safe work practices and company policies throughout all warehouse and event operations.
- Assist with warehouse layout improvements and process development to increase efficiency.
- Support other departments as needed to meet production and event deadlines.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in event production, floral, rental, or logistics operations is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Comfortable leading teams in both warehouse and on-site event environments.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and documentation.
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to safely ascend and descend ladders.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods.
- Ability to work in indoor warehouse environments and outdoor event settings in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to safely load, unload, and transport event equipment and materials.
- Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as event schedules require.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
