Mileta is a chef driven, locally owned restaurant in Lexington serving modern, seasonal cuisine. We are a busy, high energy kitchen with a frequently changing menu that highlights ingredients from local farms and producers. We are looking for a dependable, motivated Line Cook to join our growing team.

What You’ll Do
- Execute à la carte service with consistency, urgency, and attention to detail
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Mileta’s recipes, standards, and plating expectations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked station throughout service
- Communicate clearly with chefs and fellow cooks during busy service periods
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, storage, and labeling procedures
- Assist with daily prep, station setup, breakdown, and cleaning
- Work with high quality seasonal ingredients from local farms, growers, and producers
- Help maintain the pace, discipline, and positive energy of a professional kitchen
What We’re Looking For
- Previous line cook experience is preferred, but strong work ethic and willingness to learn matter just as much
- Dependable and punctual. Shows up ready to work every shift
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, high volume restaurant environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and direction precisely
- Able to stay organized and composed during service
- A team first mindset and clear communication skills
- Curious and motivated. Always striving to improve
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $18 to $21 per hour, based on experience
