A successful driver candidate needs the following skills and qualifications for the truck driver and side dump driver positions:
- A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) appropriate for the type of vehicle operated
- A clean driving record with a strong focus on safety
- Prior experience operating dump truck, side dump trucks or similar equipment
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance standards
- The ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- A dependable work ethic and consistent attendance
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A willingness to adapt to changing schedules, weather conditions, and job site demands
- Physical ability to load, unload, and safely operate equipment as required
