Sterling Surgical Hospital is seeking a skilled X-ray Technician with OR experience to join our team. (PRN)
Essential Functions:
- Performs diagnostic imaging in the operating room using a C-Arm
- Proficient in operating X-ray and other medical imaging equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety
- Position patients correctly to obtain accurate images
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety protocols
- Collaborate with physicians to determine the appropriate imaging techniques for each patient
- Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Follow aseptic techniques to prevent contamination and infection
- Use medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to accurately communicate findings with physicians
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
Education:
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology
Licensure /Certification:
Work Experience:
- 3+ years of work experience in Operating Room Imaging
