We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated legal matters and contribute meaningfully to client success. Areas of Practice
The Associate Attorney will support and, as experience allows, lead matters in various practice areas, including but not limited to:
- Corporate and Business Law
- General Litigation
- Real Estate Transactions
- Probate and Estate Planning
- Criminal Defense
- Family Law
- Personal Injury
Assignment to specific practice areas will be based on the candidate’s experience, demonstrated capabilities, and business development interests.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents
- Assist with case strategy, discovery, and trial preparation
- Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and mediations (as experience permits)
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex matters
- Manage client relationships and maintain high standards of communication
- Contribute to firm growth through professional development and networking
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Nebraska
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
