Warehouse Maintenance Clerk

Monday thru Friday – 8am to 5pm
$18 to $20hr depending on experience.
Busy chemical distributor is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to join their team in Arleta. This company specializes in distribution as well as the customer service involved with product selection, order processing, delivery, and documentation of a wide assortment of chemicals and services.
Summary: Seeking an organized and detail-oriented warehouse clerk to maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse. The warehouse clerk is responsible for warehouse upkeep and basic maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities. To be successful as a warehouse clerk, you must be relatively fit and strong enough to lift boxes up to 50lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Clean the warehouse.
- Empty trash.
- Sweep the floors.
- Stack and organize pallets.
- Move pallets and other materials with standing and sit-down forklift.
- Internal package deliveries.
- Basic cleaning and maintenance of warehouse facilities and equipment.
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Due to the nature of the chemicals this company handles, they are mandated to have all employees pass a live scan and a drug screen pre-employment.
Requirements:
- A high school qualification or equivalent.
- Prior experience working in a warehouse.
- Forklift experience. Will be certified by company trainer.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Relative physical strength and stamina, able to lift up to 50lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
