Position Summary
The Landscape Mechanic & Fleet Maintenance Manager oversees the repair, maintenance, and reliability of all landscaping equipment, vehicles, and shop operations. This role requires a highly skilled, organized, and dependable technician capable of managing a fleet, performing advanced mechanical repairs, and maintaining a clean, efficient shop environment. Housing may be available for the right candidate who can successfully manage the shop and fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Electrical Systems — Diagnose and repair wiring, switches, solenoids, ignition systems, and electrical faults.
- Hydraulic Pumps & Motors — Service, rebuild, and troubleshoot hydraulic systems used in mowers, loaders, and specialty equipment.
- Small Engines & 2‑Cycle Equipment — Maintain and repair trimmers, edgers, blowers, chainsaws, and walk‑behind equipment.
- Welding & Fabrication — Fabricate brackets, repair decks, reinforce frames, and perform light-to-medium welding tasks.
- Tire Machine Operation — Mount, dismount, and repair tires for trucks, trailers, and equipment.
- Fleet Maintenance Management — Oversee service schedules, preventive maintenance, and repair logs for all company vehicles and equipment.
- Transmission & Engine Replacement — Perform occasional full engine or transmission swaps on trucks or heavy equipment.
- Maintenance Reporting — Document repairs, parts used, labor hours, and equipment status.
- Shop Organization — Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area at all times.
- Team & Shop Leadership — Lead shop operations, coordinate repairs, and ensure equipment readiness for daily field crews.
