New Tokyo of Harrison is looking for a cook to work in our kitchen. This position is full time.
Duties:
- Prepare meals to meet all specifications
- Set up and stock work stations with all necessary ingredients and supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, etc.)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer questions or make recommendations to other staff members or guests based on food quality and quantity
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
Experience:
- Previous cooking experience preferred
- Familiarity with cooking principles and techniques such as roasting, baking, boiling etc. is preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
