La Torcia Brick Oven Pizza opened our first location's doors in 2004. We wanted to offer you, our guests, a family friendly place to order a super product where you could dine in, let us do the cooking and clean up the mess for you!
We strive to offer a delicious variety of menu items that will satisfy the whole family as well as being the best product on the market. We can do this by constantly testing our product, listening to our guests and making changes where needed.
Our goal is to satisfy each and every person that walks through our doors with as close to 100% quality satisfaction, both in service and product, as we possibly can. We want to partner with you and the community to build strong relationships whenever the opportunity presents itself.
Position Summary
Our Servers and Bartenders are responsible for creating an outstanding guest experience from the moment guests arrive until they leave. We are looking for friendly, energetic team members who enjoy connecting with people, work well in a fast-paced environment, and consistently go above and beyond to deliver exceptional hospitality.
Essential Responsibilities
- Welcome every guest with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following recipes and company standards.
- Deliver food and drinks promptly while ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Build rapport with guests by making recommendations and answering menu questions.
- Memorize food, beverage, cocktail, beer, wine, and dessert menus to confidently make suggestions.
- Upsell appetizers, beverages, desserts, and featured menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Manage multiple tables, bar guests, and large parties with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean, organized dining room and bar area throughout each shift.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve concerns quickly while involving management when necessary.
- Follow all responsible alcohol service policies and verify identification when required.
- Accurately process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Work closely with kitchen and fellow team members to ensure smooth service.
- Complete opening, running, and closing side work assignments.
- Maintain all health, sanitation, and food safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous serving and/or bartending experience preferred (1–2 years or more).
- Excellent customer service and hospitality skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, cocktails, and responsible alcohol service is preferred.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Neat, professional, and well-groomed appearance.
- Ability to remain calm and maintain emotional control during busy shifts.
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.
- Reliable transportation and a strong commitment to punctuality and attendance.
