The Human Resource Assistant provides administrative support to the HR department and assists with daily human resource operations. This role helps with recruitment, employee records, onboarding, payroll coordination, and HR documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
Assist with recruitment and hiring processes, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
Support new employee onboarding and orientation
Prepare HR documents such as offer letters, employment contracts, and termination paperwork
Assist in processing payroll information, time sheets, and benefits documentation
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
Help organize training sessions, meetings, and employee engagement activities
Ensure HR files and records are accurate, confidential, and compliant with company policies
Assist with performance review documentation and HR reports
Must travel to Philadelphia 1 time per week.
