- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field

2+ years of proven experience in cost management, project engineering, project controls, or similar role within the construction industry

Strong understanding of construction budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting

Proficiency in Procore and project financial tools

Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse project teams
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Working Conditions:
- The Cost Controls Engineer’s work is primarily performed indoors out of a main office or field office at the construction site; occasionally outdoors in various weather conditions with some exposure to health or safety hazards, including noise level may range from moderate to loud

Position will require travel, and potentially being at a field office full time

Light physical effort is required, including the handling of objects up to 20 pounds and some standing, walking, sitting, talking and/or hearing

Environment will be demanding and fast paced
