Bio:
Old Town Party Boat is the #1 Party Boat in Florida located in St. Augustine, FL. We operate 90-minute parties daily in the historic Matanzas River located in the downtown bayfront. Our 35ft pontoon boat is certified to transport up to 25 passengers.
Purpose:
Seeking out Master Captain for a 35’ pontoon Cycleboat operating in the ICWW in St. Augustine, FL. Major factors we are on the lookout for in applicants: Safety, Experience, Knowledge of Operating Area, and Customer Relations.
Hours:
Part-Time Availability: 10 or less hours per week.
We operate 7-days a week – Daily day & night tours available.
Pay:
$25.00 per hour + tips.
Responsibilities:
Safe operation and navigation of the vessel in compliance with applicable safety regulations.
Maintain active status on Master License and Certifications required to operate vessel.
Supervise assigned boat crew to ensure safe and productive operations.
Update and maintain hours of service and passenger logs.
Perform daily, weekly, monthly inspections.
Quarterly M.O.B. and Fire Drill Training.
Commitment to active communication.
Light maintenance and housekeeping.
Proper time-management.
Fueling and pump-out.
Requirements:
USCG Merchant Marine Master’s License of 25-GT or greater.
CPR/AED/First-Aid Certifications.
Local resident of St. Johns County preferred.
Applicants are subject to Pre-Employment/Random drug screenings and Background Checks.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to tolerate unsteady waters, heat, and unfavorable weather conditions.
Work will frequently require individuals to push, pull, bend or stand for periods of time.
Must be able to lift an object of <180lbs out of the water in M.O.B. situations.
Must be able to lift or carry miscellaneous equipment, supplies, and parts up to 50lbs unassisted.
