Part-Time Float / On-Call Substitute

Are you dependable, flexible, and passionate about working with children? Liberty Learning Centers is looking for a motivated team member to join our staff as a Part-Time Float with On-Call Substitute opportunities.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that requires someone who can easily adapt, jump into different classrooms, and help wherever needed throughout the day. No two days are the same, so we're looking for someone who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys variety.
Schedule & Hours
- Guaranteed 20 hours per week
- Additional hours available through substitute opportunities
- Center hours are between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM
- Must have flexibility to work varying shifts as needed
Responsibilities
- Assist in classrooms ranging from infants through school-age children
- Step into different classrooms as staffing needs change throughout the day
- Support lead teachers with daily classroom routines and activities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment for children
- Complete indoor and outdoor cleaning and organization tasks
- Assist with classroom setup, organization, and daily operations
- Perform duties assigned by the Director or teaching staff
- Follow all center policies and Washington State licensing regulations

- Ready to help with whatever the day brings, no matter the task
Requirements
Applicants must meet all Washington State DCYF licensing requirements, including but not limited to:
- Current DCYF MERIT registration
- Portable Background Check (or ability to obtain one)
- Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
- TB screening
- Food Worker Card
- HIV/AIDS training
- Completion of all required Washington State/DCYF trainings, including STARS requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
