Responsibilities
- Safely handle, lead and control dog groups during daily activities, daycare, boarding, training, and grooming.
- Maintain cleanliness of facility, yard, and common areas to ensure a sanitized environment for all animals
- Support pet grooming sessions by bathing, brushing, and managing animal coats with gentle care
- Monitor animal behavior closely to identify signs of stress or illness and report concerns promptly
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets’ needs and behaviors
Experience
- Previous dog daycare / training experience or veterinary technician background preferred but not required
- Experience in pet sitting, kennel work, or pet boarding environments is highly valued
- Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal behavior enhances your ability to handle diverse breeds confidently
- Familiarity with animal handling tools such as leashes, harnesses, muzzles, and restraint equipment
- Hands-on experience in pet grooming or animal care facilities demonstrates your commitment to hygiene standards
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when moving animals or supplies is essential
