Our physical plant, fleet of trucks and heavy equipment is essential to our operations, and we’re looking for a skilled Loader Operator/Mechanic to join our team and keep our property maintained and our equipment running smoothly.
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Loader Operator/Mechanic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation, preferably with a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) . This role will also serve as a Mechanic and be responsible for operating a front end loader, performing general maintenance on diesel equipment, and keeping the aggregate bins stocked and yard maintained at the plant. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and in good working order

Operate front end loader to store aggregate and load into plant bins

Perform maintenance activities to plant and around yard

Follow company safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required

CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) – Strongly Preferred

3+ years of experience as an equipment operator, preferably in a construction or concrete industry setting

Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems

Ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex issues

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
