Schedule & Workweek
Required coverage: Tuesdays and Fridays
Flexible options: 3–5 day work week
Typical daily schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with standard clinical flow and lunch break)
About the Practice
This established optometry practice has been serving patients for 23 years and is recognized as one of the region’s top medical‑focused offices. With exceptional clinical support including supportive technicians who complete all entrance testing up to (but not including) dilation. Doctors maintain an efficient, medically complex schedule.
The practice manages a wide range of ocular disease, including glaucoma, diabetes, and other chronic conditions. Surgical needs such as glaucoma procedures, LASIK, and specialty interventions are referred out. Demand is strong: the practice is currently booked three months out, with doctors seeing 4–7 patients per hour across two providers.
An additional optometrist is needed to relieve patient overflow and expand access to care.
Position Overview
The incoming optometrist will provide:
- Routine comprehensive exams
- Medical optometry and disease management
- Specialty services as clinically appropriate
- Opportunities to develop new service lines (e.g., vision therapy, specialty clinics) if desired
