Responsibilities
- Lead mobile gymnastics classes at multiple locations, adapting activities to suit different age groups and skill levels.
- Design and implement creative lesson plans that emphasize safety, skill progression, and enjoyment.
- Monitor participants closely to ensure proper technique and behavior management during all activities.
- Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to help students understand movements and routines effectively.
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols, inspecting equipment, and supervising all activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behavior.
- Collaborate with other coaches or staff to coordinate schedules, events, and special programs.
Skills
- Proven experience in sports coaching, teaching physical education, or working with children in active settings.
- Background in gymnastics, martial arts (such as Karate or Judo), swimming, cheerleading, dance or other related disciplines.
- Strong skills in behavior management to foster positive conduct during classes.
- Knowledge of childcare practices combined with the ability to motivate and engage young learners.
- Excellent communication skills for instructing students and collaborating with parents or team members.
