CFS is partnering with a repeat client, a boutique accounting firm located in Harford County providing retirement, estate and tax planning services. Due to growth, our client is hiring a part time Accounting Clerk to work onsite in their office in Forest Hill, MD.

The Accounting Clerk will work with a small team and handle a variety of administrative and accounting duties. Company provides in depth training for new employees.

Job Duties of the Part Time Accounting Clerk:
Categorize expenses from bank statements, make entries into spreadsheets, verify account numbers

- Perform data entry for various types of taxes and assist with 1040, 1065, and 1120 returns

Prepare journal entries
-
Perform reconciliations
-
Assist with processing payroll and payroll taxes for clientele

Qualifications for the Part Time Accounting Clerk:

Degree NOT required

Basic understanding of accounting, debits and credits, and state and federal taxes

Strong computer literacy and office etiquette

Must be proficient with Excel
Clean drug screen required
Schedule: Open to part time flexible schedule between 9am-5pm, M-F, 100% on site in Forest Hill, MD
Pay: $21-25/hour depending on experience
