The Team Lead – Production works with the Supervisor or Assistant Supervisor to efficiently assign and progress work orders through the Production space. With a good working knowledge of the Global Shop System (GSS), the Production Lead strategically plans with the Supervisor, using the relevant GSS dashboards, to meet inventory and shipping deadlines. Leads the team to make sure all products are produced to specification, duly documented in the GSS system and that deadlines are met for a healthy inventory. Aware of the importance of batch control and traceability, the Production Lead ensures that non-conformances and scrap are reported, documented and dispositioned.

1. Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions
· Maintain and enforce all applicable standard operating procedures, manufacturing instructions and policies.
· Work with Supervisor or Assistant Production Supervisor to assign and assist Production Assistants with regard to production priorities and schedules.
· Perform machine setups (calibration, cleaning, etc.) and address machine issues that may occur during shift
· Control and adjust the functions and settings of machines and record changes
· Work with Supervisors to ensure the timely review, maintenance and reports regarding carious machines in Production Area
· Work with Production Assistants to continuously assess machine output to discover any machine-related mistakes or flaws
· Informed understanding of all part numbers process through production area
· Informed understanding of packaging and labeling requirements for all part numbers processed through the production area
· Informed understanding of SOPs that impact general employee and quality activities
· Informed understanding of GSS system with regard to logging into shifts and work orders
· Collaborate with Product Development and Production Supervisor to review and implement manufacturing and packaging methods for new products to be processed through the cleanroom
· Liaise with Supervisors and Production Technicians
- To review and prioritize daily tasks
- To efficiently track product per batch/work order
- To inform of any anomalies in processing of product relating to:
§ Machines
§ Maintenance
§ Raw material
· Adhere to following the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards

2. Qualifications
Minimal Qualifications include:
· Bilingual, Spanish and English (this requirement is for California only)
· Strong leadership and planning skills
