Drift is a new restaurant opening in June in the former Dockside Restaurant in Essex. This bustling restaurant located in the Dauntless Marina has a stunning patio with a picturesque view of the Connecticut River. Our restaurant and bar has been known for its great atmosphere for Connecticut River boaters, marina occupants and tourists coming to Essex, making it a favorite spot for both locals and visitors. Drift is elevating the menu with new items and focusing on craft cocktails to keep people coming back all summer long and into the winter. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated servers and bartenders to join our team.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwashers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning, pots, pans, plates and utensils, operating the dishwashing machine, making sure cleaning chemicals are filled and in stock. Keeping the area clean and sanitary.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the dish area and cleaning of pots, pans, utensils and plates.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a culinary role or similar position is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks within the kitchen setting
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Culinary expertise
- Proficiency in knife skills
- Experience as a dietary aide
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques
- Understanding of menu planning concepts
