Coastal Health is looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Medical Receptionist to join our Primary Care team in Fleming Island. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming experience while ensuring the office operates efficiently.

Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner.

Answer and route incoming phone calls.

Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.

Verify insurance and collect co-pays and patient information.

Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Assist with patient registration and intake paperwork.

Respond to patient questions and direct them to the appropriate staff member.

Process incoming mail, deliveries, and office correspondence.

Maintain a clean and organized front office.

Support providers and clinical staff with administrative tasks as needed.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous medical receptionist or healthcare office experience preferred.

Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification is a plus.

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
