Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Paramedics to join our emergency medical services team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in providing high-quality emergency medical services to patients in urgent situations, ensuring their safety and well-being during transport to healthcare facilities, including Trauma Centers.
Duties
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess the situation to determine the necessary course of action.
- Administer medications and provide advanced life support as required.
- Drive emergency vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Make sure all ambulance checks are done and in compliance with agency, state requirements.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care during transport.
- Document patient information, treatment provided, and any changes in condition accurately.
- Takes lead in on site training as needed, acts as a mentor works with officers and administration
- Assist with heavy lifting of patients when necessary, ensuring safe transfer techniques are employed.
- Maintain equipment and supplies in accordance with health regulations and organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Paramedic from an accredited program.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of critical care protocols.
- Experience in urgent care or emergency medical services is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and team members.
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-stress situations.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Pay: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour
