The Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT) is a dynamic, New York City based nonprofit organization in the mental health field. We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Program and Operations Coordinator to serve as the operational backbone of our day-to-day office activities.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Program and Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this vital role, you will oversee the office management, communications and correspondence, data and records management, financial and supply. Responsibilities include:
- Office management: Coordinate daily office operations and procedures. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal staff, vendors, and members.
- Communications and correspondence: Manage high-volume incoming correspondences, screen emails, route phone calls, and draft professional memos and reports.
- Data and records management: Maintain and update physical and digital files, membership databases, and records.
- Financial and supply support: Assist the accounting team with expense reports, monthly allocations and oversee office supply inventory.
- Provide support for three core work functional areas: Administration, Convention, and Publications
- Travel 1-2 times per year for ABCT annual convention or other business-related events
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional experience in an administrative, clerical, or operational support role in a nonprofit association.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with virtual meeting platforms (Teams, Zoom, other).
- Soft skills desired include exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with member engagement and communications; renewals and registrations; working with committees, chapters or special interest groups; and supporting organization leaders is desirable.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,800.00 per year
