Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate restaurant activities during your shift, ensuring smooth operations from food preparation to customer service.
- Lead and motivate team members, providing guidance, training, and support to uphold service standards and operational excellence.
- Manage POS systems such as Toast POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy.
- Oversee food safety practices, including proper food handling, sanitation procedures, and inventory control to minimize waste and ensure compliance.
- Monitor kitchen operations, including food production, cooking processes, and quality control to deliver consistently excellent dishes.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure guests leave satisfied with their experience.
- Conduct shift briefings, performance evaluations, and assist in interviewing potential team members to build a strong hospitality team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience in hospitality or restaurant settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS for transactions and inventory tracking.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and food handling regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently under pressure.
- Experience with staff training, team management, and shift supervision within casual dining or fine dining contexts preferred.
- Strong organizational skills related to inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food production planning.
