We are currently seeking an HVAC/R Maintenance Technician for our client site in Pearl River, NY. This role offers a unique opportunity to showcase your expertise in HVAC systems while working collaboratively to deliver an industry-leading workplace experience and exceptional customer service.

- Schedule: Primarily 1st shift, supporting a 24/7 operation. Work hours may vary based on business needs, including overtime, holidays, weekends, or alternative schedules.
Responsibilities
As an HVAC/R Maintenance Technician, you will perform a wide range of maintenance activities in an industrial and commercial environment. Your key responsibilities include:
- Providing intermediate-level preventive and corrective maintenance for various industrial and commercial HVAC equipment.
- Operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing critical assets such as ventilation equipment, pumps, fans, chillers, rooftop AHUs, split systems, compressors, refrigeration systems, and related mechanical components.
- Monitoring and diagnosing facility systems and equipment through the Building Automation System (BAS).
- Performing preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled via a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Demonstrating strong mechanical and electrical skills to complete service assignments and address customer needs effectively.
- Operating diagnostic tools and instruments to identify problems and provide energy-efficient solutions.
- Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving electrical circuits ranging from 24V AC/DC to 480V 3-phase power systems.
- Inspecting facilities for compliance with safety regulations, codes, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.
- Managing work orders while delivering high-quality service, maintaining records, and effectively communicating with customers and team members.
- Following proper safety procedures, including lockout/tagout protocols, job hazard analysis, and required PPE use.
- Maintaining a consistent schedule while prioritizing flexibility to meet customer demands.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the leadership team.

Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates applying to this role must meet the following qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: A minimum of 6 years of experience as an HVAC/R Maintenance Technician in industrial/commercial environments, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and air-conditioning systems.
- Proficiency in safely handling and troubleshooting 3-phase electrical systems up to 480V.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical circuits ranging from 24V AC/DC and beyond.
- Capability to safely operate equipment and meet site-specific security clearance requirements, including background checks.
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including overtime, holidays, weekends, and alternative schedules to meet business demands.
- Possess or obtain a valid state-issued driver’s license if required.
- Be a United States citizen or permanent resident.

Special/Physical Requirements:
This position demands physical effort and other essential capabilities:
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders, steps, and scaffolding.
- Perform repetitive physical movements, including bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, stretching, and reaching.
- Work at an accelerated pace when responding to emergency conditions.
- Accurately differentiate wire color coding for electrical work.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and steel-toe shoes, as required.
- Adaptability to work under pressure and manage workplace stressors effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following skills and certifications are highly desired:
- EPA Universal Certification.
- Experience with Building Automation Systems (Honeywell and Siemens).
- Proficiency with DX split systems, packaged systems, and related equipment.
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and software such as Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated experience with 480V 3-phase electrical systems.
Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
