Overview

Responsibilities
- Perform setup, calibration, and maintenance of machinery involved in motor system manufacturing, including CNC machines, robotics, and injection molding equipment.
- Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures or process deviations to identify underlying issues and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo to review schematics, design modifications, and process layouts.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize automation processes on the assembly line.
- Operate hand tools, precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers, and fabrication tools for tooling and fixture adjustments.
- Support process engineering initiatives by applying lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project scheduling, equipment upgrades, and process validations aligned with ISO 9001 standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of factory operations and industrial equipment maintenance.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo for schematics review and design work.
- Knowledge of CNC programming, CAM programming, robotics programming, and PLC troubleshooting.
- Mechanical knowledge including machining, welding, plastics injection molding, fabrication, tooling setup, and assembly line operations.
- Familiarity with electrical wiring diagrams, industrial schematics, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and electrical wiring practices.
- Strong math skills for process calculations and quality control measurements using precision instruments like micrometers and calipers.
- Experience with lean manufacturing methodologies, continuous improvement projects, and ISO 9001 standards compliance.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics while applying industrial engineering principles to optimize processes.
