Looking for a tight-knit culture where your contributions really matter? BRAH Electric is searching for a relaxed and diligent Sales Support Specialist to join our team. You might be the perfect fit if you're organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a role that requires juggling multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
As a key member of our 10-person team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our sales process runs smoothly from order entry to shipment and billing. You'll use your strong communication and organization skills to work closely with our sales reps, coordinating logistics, and make sure our customers are delighted with on-time deliveries and accurate billing. Sales support and logistics experience is preferred, but not required. Please apply if you are a natural organizer and work well as part of a team.
Your Mission
Customers around the world rely on BRAH for innovative and cost-effective electrical parts. We specialize in direct replacement (aftermarket) parts, which means that we save our customers from the pain of expensive or slow replacement of their failed electrical parts—we ship quickly, and for less than the original manufacturer. Our customers love us!
You will be a welcome new member of our team, as we are splitting out administrative functions from the sales process for the first time! Our team is excited for you to join, because you will be increasing their efficiency. In order for this to happen well, you’ll need to earn their trust with attention to detail and strong communication. This role will come with the usual need to improve processes and make things the best they can be. We love opportunities for improvement, so bring your best suggestions!
Your Day
Your day will be a blend of coordinating shipments, managing customer orders, and solving process issues. While your tasks may vary, here’s a glimpse of what a typical day might look like:
In the morning, you start by confirming the shipping details for a set of orders, coordinating with third-party vendors, and entering tracking numbers into our system to share with customers. While managing your inbox, you respond to a few queries from sales reps needing support with customer requests. All tasks can be completed over chat or email, with an occasional need for you to pick up the phone and get some information from a sales rep or customer.
As the day progresses, you could be coordinating with the warehouse on items that need to go out today, or assisting sales with some urgent orders. You finish out the day by coordinating with operations leadership and share some of your ideas for improving our order-to-shipment process and customer satisfaction. This is the flow of each day—hustling orders through as efficiently as possible, while sometimes slowing down to make sure we're improving our methods.
Who You Are
You excel at working efficiently and take pride in mastering tasks, even the repetitive ones. Your organizational skills shine as you find ways to improve processes, but you also appreciate the rhythm of diving into familiar tasks, where you can pop on your headphones and get into a productive groove.
You’re always ready to assist sales reps or customers when they need help, and you seamlessly transition back to your tasks once the job is done.
