At Spear Education, our Study Clubs bring dental professionals together to learn, connect, and grow alongside peers and Spear’s world-class clinical faculty.
We’re looking for a Study Club Consultant to help grow our Study Club community by identifying prospective members, connecting them with the right opportunities, and helping new clubs get off to a strong start.
This is a relationship-driven, growth-focused role for someone who enjoys connecting with people, creating opportunities, following through, and turning conversations into action.
Compensation: $60,000–$80,000 base salary + commission, with expected on-target earnings of approximately $100,000.
Location: Greater Phoenix/Scottsdale area preferred; hybrid schedule based out of our Scottsdale office. Remote candidates may also be considered.
- Identify and engage prospective Study Club members through proactive outreach, referrals, events, and existing Spear relationships.
- Build relationships with dental professionals and understand their goals, needs, and interests.
- Clearly communicate the value of Spear Study Clubs and help prospects find the right fit.
- Maintain consistent, thoughtful follow-up to move prospects from initial interest to membership.
- Partner closely with Study Club Advisors to support membership growth and achieve monthly membership and revenue goals.
- Connect with dental professionals interested in starting or leading a Study Club.
- Help prospective leaders understand the Study Club model, resources, and support available through Spear.
- Support Advisors with prospecting and help move new clubs from initial interest through launch.
- Provide early support to smaller or newly forming clubs before transitioning the relationship to the appropriate Study Club Advisor.
- Conduct consultative conversations by phone, email, and video to understand what matters most to prospective members.
- Develop trusted relationships with prospects, Study Club Advisors, and internal partners.
- Represent Spear professionally and create a positive experience throughout the prospect and onboarding journey.
- Manage and maintain an active prospect pipeline using HubSpot and NetSuite.
- Keep opportunity stages, activities, follow-up tasks, commitments, and next steps current and accurate.
- Prepare for regular 1:1s with your manager by understanding your pipeline, activity, accomplishments, challenges, and opportunities.
- Stay organized and persistent in moving opportunities forward.
- Identify opportunities where Study Club prospects and members may benefit from other Spear offerings, including Faculty Club.
- Share prospect insights and feedback with Marketing and other internal teams to help strengthen the member experience and support growth.
- Partner with Customer Success to ensure a smooth transition from sale to onboarding.
- Ensure new members and Study Club leaders receive a timely and seamless handoff.
- Support onboarding, Leadership 101, orientation, and early engagement.
- Build the foundation for a positive member experience and long-term Study Club engagement.
We’re looking for someone who is comfortable building relationships, creating opportunities, and owning a sales pipeline. You may come from a traditional sales background—or from customer success, account management, recruiting, business development, or another relationship-focused role.

- Are curious, adaptable, persistent, and genuinely interested in helping people find solutions that meet their needs.
Preferred experience includes:
- Sales, business development, account management, or customer success
- Memberships, subscriptions, professional education, or professional services
- Dental, healthcare, or education environments
- Experience working with dental practices or healthcare professionals
- HubSpot, Salesforce, NetSuite, or similar CRM/ERP platforms
